Privacy Policy
Squared Away is a business planning and coaching tool made by FIE Consults ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect on squaredawaypros.com and in the Squared Away app, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- What you give us on this site: your name, company, email, mobile number if you add one, trade, rough sales range, and the numbers you type into the free calculator.
- Where you came from: the ad, post or link that brought you here (for example utm tags or a Facebook click id), so we know which marketing works.
- In the app: the business and personal numbers you enter, the leads, quotes and cash plans you save, and the questions you ask Foreman.
- Basic technical data: your IP address and browser details, used for security and to stop spam.
How we use it
- To set up your trial and account, and to email you about it.
- To text you, only if you gave a mobile number and checked the box. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
- To run and improve Squared Away. We look at the topics people ask Foreman to teach so we can build better lessons. Those records keep the topic only, with dollar amounts removed.
- To measure our ads. If we run Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads, this site may use the Meta Pixel to report visits and signups back to Meta.
Foreman and AI
Foreman, the AI coach in the app, runs on Anthropic's Claude. When you ask Foreman a question, your question, the numbers in your workspace and any file you attach are sent to Anthropic to produce the answer. Attached files are read once and not stored by Squared Away.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information.
- We don't share one company's numbers with another company.
Who we share with
Only the service providers that run Squared Away for us: Cloudflare (hosting, security and storage), Anthropic (Foreman), and our email, text and payment providers once you're a customer. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep lead information until you ask us to delete it or it's been two years with no contact. We keep your workspace while you're a customer, and for 90 days after you cancel so you can come back or download it. Backups roll off within 30 days after that.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, download or delete your information at any time. Workspace owners can download all their data from inside the app. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
